Post-Game: UVIC stays undefeated with win at SFU

In their first meeting of the season it was a back-and-forth battle at Bill Copeland Arena between SFU and the University of Victoria on Saturday night. The Vikes scored the first goal of the game on the power play and never trailed despite allowing SFU to tie twice.

A goal by captain Matt Schultz through a myriad of bodies gave Victoria the lead and the Clan, despite sustained pressure in the last two minutes could not tie the game. With the loss, SFU drops to 1-2-0 on the season while Victoria improves to 3-0-0 and seems to have bounced back from missing the playoffs last season.
