Clan calm Coyotes in battle for 1st place

Paul Moscone had two goals in the 6-1 win for SFU vs OKC.

Based on the first half of the first period, you wouldn't have expected a 6-1 SFU victory over the Okanagan College Coyotes at Bill Copeland Arena on Saturday night.

SFU came out flat while the Coyotes with a vengeance. It was a battle for first place and if it wasn't for Clan goaltender Justin Mulholland, SFU would have lost the battle.

Two goals in twenty-six seconds from Mitch Labreche and Kolby Kulhanek in the first period gave SFU a 2-0 lead and they never looked back. The Clan scored three more in the second and one in the third, while the lone Coyotes goal came on a power play in the third period.
