Clan crush Cascades in Abbotsford

Evan Kurylo got his second start of the season and for the second consecutive game the Clan backup goaltender only let one puck by him as the SFU Clan defeated the UFV Cascades 6-1 in Abbotsford on Thursday.

Kurylo made a couple big saves early, then his team took over firing twenty shots on Cascades' netminder Evan Thomas in the first period. Four goals got by Thomas in the first frame before he was relieved by Rhys Chesney.

SFU's offensive attack was led by captain Paul Moscone who had three goals in the game. Jas Rai and Jaime Laprise both contributed with two helpers apiece.
